The Dorotheenhütte Wolfach is the last active hand blown glass factory in the Black Forest. Watch the gaffers and glass grinders working. Stroll through the museum, the big land of glass with its decoration and gift ideas around the set table or go and see the Christmas village decorated the whole year round.

Glass museum:

The glass museum shows approximately 2000 years of glass history and presents numerous glasses coming from ancient long gone Black Forest glass factories. The collection of historical Christmas tree decorations as well is worth seeing, the biggest one of its kind in the entire region…

The museum is accessible for people on wheels – coach parking directly at the museum.

People with restricted mobility and wheelchair users can visit the museum and participate in the guided tours since all the divisions of the museum are accessible via an elevator or ramps. When making your reservation please kindly provide me with your requests concerning length, breaks or space.
